What is this?

A motivation and discipleship program

for children K-5 in Sunday School and Children’s Church

 

 

Let’s get started!

All children are God's Stars! Our goal this year is to be the brightest star we can be! Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

There are two main meetings for Stars to attend weekly.

-All Star Training: Sundays at 9 am in Room 134 (for more information see KIDspace on Sunday Mornings)

-Church for Stars: Sundays during the 10:15 am service (for more information see KIDspace on Sunday Mornings)

 

 

How to earn your stars

*All children begin as Stars.

*Children will make a name tag for their earned stars to be displayed on.

*All Scriptures will be taught using the New American Standard version of the Bible. If your child knows another version, that is OK!!

*All information will be taught in the classes, but parents are strongly encouraged to use the opportunity to discuss the verses, creeds, and sharing of faith at home. This will not only be a great teaching opportunity for parents, but will also bring success to your child's journey through the program, which will in turn encourage more study!

*On Sundays, please check in upon arrival at the KIDspace table located in the foyer to get your name tag and other pertinent information for the day.

This is how to earn stars and rank:

Memorize John 3:16 and earn a red star.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Memorize Romans 3:23 and earn a red star.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Be able to answer this question and earn a red star. Q: How do you get to heaven?

A: Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. 

Be able to answer this question and earn a red star. Q: How do we grow in Christ?

A: 5 ways to grow: 1. Pray, 2. Read the Bible, 3. Tell others about Jesus, 4. Obey God's Word, and 5. Go to church. 

After earning the four red stars, you now earn MAIN STAR rank. Congratulations!!!!

Memorize I Corinthians 15:3-4 and earn a blue star.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures.

Memorize John 1:12 and earn a blue star.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe on His name.

Memorize books of the Old Testament and earn a blue star.

Memorize books of the New Testament and earn a blue star.

After earning the four blue stars, you now earn GIANT STAR rank. Congratulations!!!

Memorize Hebrews 13:5 and earn a gold star.

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for He Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you."

Memorize II Peter 3:18  and earn a gold star.

But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Tell the Wordless Book and earn a gold star. (There is a short song that will be taught to the younger stars.)

Memorize Children's Faith Creed and earn a gold star. (This will be taught by song in class)

 After earning all four gold stars, you now earn SUPERGIANT STAR rank. Congratulations!!!!
