Knights for Christ

What is this?

A motivation and discipleship program

for children PreK4-5th in Sunday School and Children’s Church

Let’s get started!

We are all Knights for Christ! The Scripture tells us to put on the armor of God daily! So to help St. Philips kids know what that means, our focus right now is to learn about the armor of God and other important things that help us be the best Knight we can be! Read below for more details.

How to become a Knight for Christ

*Childrens' progress wil be displayed in the Children's Room on the wall. Look for the little self potraits and pieces of armor attached, as they earn them.

*All Scriptures will be taught using the New American Standard version of the Bible. If your child knows another version, that is OK!!

*All information will be taught in the classes, but parents are strongly encouraged to use the opportunity to discuss the verses, creeds, and sharing of faith at home. This will not only be a great teaching opportunity for parents, but will also bring success to your child's journey through the program, which will in turn encourage more study!

€ Children’s Faith Creed
I believe there’s only one God, and He’s a trinity.
The Father, Son, and Spirit, Almighty God is He.

I believe He’s the Creator, by Him were all things made.
He knows all and He’s holy; forever He’s the same.

But you are I are sinners, so God sent His only Son
To be born of a virgin; He’s God and man in one.

I believe for my salvation Christ suffered and He died;
He rose again the third day, and lives in Heaven on high.

I believe God gives His Spirit to all who will believe.
His Spirit dwells within us to help in time of need.

To teach us to be like Him ‘til Jesus comes again.
To stir us to tell others of God’s great love for them.

My faith is growing stronger as I meet with God each day.
For I believe the Bible and know that I can pray.

I believe there’s only one God and He loves even me.
Someday I will be with Him to spend eternity.
