About Us

St. Philip’s is an exciting endeavor to help extend the Kingdom of God into Southeast Orlando. Our unique gift to the community is to bring worship and biblical thinking with an Anglican perspective. Our aim is to be a people who are well versed in the Scriptures, passionate to share Jesus to the world, and who serve the community around us.

As an Anglican Church we are connected to a worldwide body of over 70 million Christians. This Church is typically catholic in its form and reformed in its thinking. St. Philip's is a congregation of the Anglican Mission in the Americas.

The dream of this church began to unfold in 2001 with a number of people praying for God to establish an Anglican church in the Lake Nona and surrounding areas. We invite you to come and help us make this dream become a reality.

Our Purpose

To glorify God in all we do as we fulfill the Great Commandments and carry out the Great Commission.

The Great Commandments are:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your souls and with all your strength and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 (NIV)

The Great Commission is:

“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:18-20 NIV

Our Mission

To carry the light of Christ into Southeast Orlando and out to the world, that others may see it and find their way back to God through knowing Jesus Christ and experience the rich excitement and meaningful purpose in living for him.
